My goal when taking street style photos isn’t to just show you people dolled up all the time; instead, I want to show you “real” people. In this case, it’s a professional model named Chantel DeBerry. She literally just tossed on some clothes and ran out of her apartment to walk her dog Napoleon (sorry, he walked out of the shot). One more photo of Chantel below.

We were in the shadows of Wooster Street, but this shot gives you another look. While she may have given me the disclaimer that she’d just thrown those clothes on – she still looked great. And Napoleon – the dog – he was fun as well.

Meet Shana. I saw her inside Cole Haan (she works there) and new I had to take a photo. I said, “I’m sorry to ask such a dumb question, but is that your real hair?” She jokingly said no at first, but then said yes. I could have taken photos of her all day and would love to do a formal shoot at some point. And by the way, she has a blog – Knee Highs and Love.

There’s the hat. There’s the pattern on the dress. And, the shoes. Take your pick.

My obsession with stylish people on bikes continues. Especially when they are riding down cobblestone streets in SoHo. My back was to her as she came by, so this is the best shot I could capture.

Speaking of bikes, I wonder if she wore those shoes to match hers.

Accessorized. And hoping her bank account gives her good news. Seriously, that’s what she was doing on her phone.

Nikki was full of energy.

As  was her sister Toni – great floral romper. Loved her look.

But there’s something funny that happened before this shot was snapped (see below).

So, I saw these two and said something like, “Ladies, I’m going to take your photo for a fashion blog.” As soon as that came out of my mouth Nikki (on the left – your left) grabbed her sisters chest, and that’s why she’s laughing. It was one of the more interesting – and funny – reactions to date.

Love how she added a blazer to this look. And he’s one of those guys that can actually pull off these boots with shorts.

Yes, ripped denim is back. Again. Maybe he was saying, “I think that’s the Fashables guy taking your photo!”
