Street Style Photography: Is She Wearing That?

I mentioned in Monday’s street style photography post intro that you’d probably see some shots this week that would make you say, “Is she really wearing that?”

And I’m sure the first shot in today’s post will live up to that promise.

Enjoy the shots, and as always, feel free to share the post with your friends.

Yes, this indeed prompted a double take. Surely she’s using a little Hollywood tape.

A fun looking hipster leaning couple. More on her below.

Love the back on her shirt.

Little details such as the necklaces the girl on the left is wearing help add a great finishing touch.

This shot was snapped at the always interesting Washington Square Park. Great backless dress… and don’t overlook the guy laying out inside the fountain (not yet turned on for the summer) in the background. Laying out in parks – that’s something that took a little adjusting.

Nice touch with the vest. I didn’t chat with her, but I bet $2.36 that she’s “good people.”

She was like, “who are you?” And then I was like…

“I’m Ryan from Fashables.” Ok, maybe I made all of that up, but can we just go with it? Thanks. :) Her look reminded me of New Orleans for some reason.

Arm candy.

Taking a little break from her job at the bookstore. See the detail shot below.

It’s the little things that can catch an eye.

Wearing the minimum.

Love all of these looks and the natural way each person is photographed. I’m super inspired by the beautiful woman with the flat-brimmed hat!

I love the woman with the masculine look but fem touch. The hat and shades set it off! I’m going to have to shout you out on ForRetroGents.tumblr.com of course on this one!

the hat is very nice, and that top that the girl with the necklace is wearing reminds me of a Pucci print. I love it.

Marie, maybe I’ll do an accessories post sometime soon. In fact, tomorrow’s post will have somewhat of a headphones theme.
