Welcome to today’s street style fashion post!
We’ve been experiencing some pretty warm temperatures in New York City the past five or so days, and that means one thing: people wear a lot less clothing.
It’s actually quite fun to see people transition to warm weather clothing, because it’s great to see how people are wearing certain items, and just how risque people are willing to go.

Humorous story around this shot. This lady and her mom were not so successfully trying to undo their bike lock. After watching them struggle for a bit I asked if they needed some help. After saying yes, I helped get the lock off and then, as you may imagine, said, “I run a fashion blog; mind if I snap your Cambridge Satchel Company bag?” I hadn’t noticed the detail on the back of her shirt prior to taking the shot, but it’s eye catching as well.
I focused on the girl on the right, but they both have on fun necklaces.
If you don’t already have them, you might be getting some high waisted shorts in the near future. They are a summer trend, and this is a cute looking example.
No, I definitely didn’t ask him if I could take this photo. Figured he’d just tell me to read his shirt.
I was pretty far away and couldn’t get a detail shot, but she looked amazing. For some reason the stripes on her bra and hat seemed to make a connection. A classy summer look for sure.
