Today’s street style fashion post features some pretty amazing coats.

Upon moving to NYC about 2.5 years ago, I learned a quick lesson when it comes to buying coats in the city. You don’t wait until it’s cold to make your staple purchase; it has to be done while the temperatures are still mild. Why? Because the best styles sell out quick. Back home in NC I’d normally wait until it got to the, “OMG it’s cold out. I need a coat!” moment to make a purchase.

Anyway, you may wan to click the photos below to enlarge them and get the full appreciation for a particular item.

Enjoy the shots!

Love the simplicity of this coat. Very chic.

Such a fun look with massive style. The layered necklaces was a great finishing touch.

Amazeballs! Not many people can pull off these hats, but she does it to perfection.

I bet they are a ton of fun.

A little leather, and a little fur.

Never good to shoot in direct sunlight, but something about this shot intrigues me. Maybe it’s more about what you can’t see.

Have your floppy hat yet? And yes, there’s probably a more glamorous name for them, but I personally like floppy hat. 🙂

Great texture on this blazer. Seen in Tribeca.
