Welcome to today’s New York City street style fashion post! I’m in the Hamptons this week – Southampton to be specific – and it’s an interesting place. Everything, for the most part, is beautiful. And there’s an incomprehensible amount of wealth. A far cry from Myrtle Beach I must say, but I fully admit that I can’t wait to go there in a couple weeks.
One trend you’ll be hearing more about in the coming months has to do with looser fitting clothing. There’s one example of the trend in today’s post, but I feel a disclaimer is needed for anyone that wants to attempt it. I’ve found that there is a very (very!) fine line between pulling it off and looking extremely sloppy. Be careful.

This was pretty interesting. Silk top and skirt; both of which had different patterns.
Some women really pull of the shirt dress well. Others, not so much.
An ex model now working in the PR business. Don’t overlook the sandals.
Two things: 1) his shirt has a dinosaur on it and 2) look at how she’s looking at him. That’s love.
An all around cute outfit. And if you must wear a backpack… this style will help you not look like you’re trying to relive your high school days.
Polka dots still catch my eye. She’s also showing off the looser trend you’ll be seeing more of in the coming months.
