Street Style Fashion: Adding Kung Pow to a Vest

Welcome to today’s street style fashion post!

I’m not sure what your takeaway from the outfits highlighted will be, but for me, they seem refreshing. There’s color. There’s texture. There’s layers. Lots of good stuff going on.

Enjoy the shots!

Now that’s how you add a little kung pow to a vest.

I was late getting this shot off, but the contrast of colors really seems to work. And, please don’t overlook the footwear.

Interesting to see her wear a vest under the blazer. An all around great look.

To fully appreciate this photo you have to click it to enlarge it. Take note of the pant design, which is fantastic, and the shoes.

A touch of southern, and a touch of rock and roll.

Ladies, please wear hats. I love the look, and the mystery they create. Just find one that works well for you.

A mixture of masculine and feminine colors is good way for guys to wear color, especially for those that don’t often wear color.

There’s so many comments I could say about this photo, but I’m going to opt out. Feel free to add your own comment about the shot in the comments section. I’m curious as to what it made you think.

Comfortably warm.

The 2nd to last photo totally made me think of Portlandia and the “put a bird on it” couple

Ah but as a Southern gentleman, you are charming and that’s disarming. I’m still for the hats as far as today’s beautiful pictures go. My hat today? Winter white velvet cloche. Mainly because cloche is so fun to say. Have a good one . . .

Loved the fur vest, the moto girl, and the blazer girl. But what are “famine” colors? ;-) Great post, thanks!
