New Yorkers might be right in the middle of April showers AND allergy season, but we do have a few things to be excited about right now- outdoor seating, street fairs, and most importantly, sale season.
I’ve had a good amount of luck so far finding some great discounted gems around town. This Friday, I decided to take some friends from out of town to Scoop in the Meatpacking District to browse the selection, not realizing they were having the biggest and best jean sale of all time. Everything was marked down already, and they were also offerring an additional 50% off of the discounted price. I had a bit of a hard time finding appropriate sizes, as expected with most sales of this kind, but I did manage to walk out with a brand new pair of good jeans at a great price.
I first tried on these Genetic Denim jeans. The fit was perfect, but the length was a bit shorter than I like. This is rather familiar territory with me. I generally look for jeans with a 34″ inseam, and these were 32″. I was sad to leave this pair behind, but then I found these great Acne jeans!
These were the correct inseam for me, but unfortunately the size was one up. This didn’t stop me though! I figure I can always shrink them on my own. I really love the detail under the knees and the length was perfect, so I convinced myself to take the plunge. I wore these puppies last night and am very happy with my Scoop sale find.
Get out there and take advantage of these sales! You won’t be sorry…
