Know what it’s like when you see a piece of style inspiration so good you cant let it go?
Well, when I was combing Pinterest recently, I discovered a photo of a girl wearing black jeans (hello, my lifeblood), black loafers, and a white button down – all pieces facing serious rotation in my closet.
She topped off her ensemble with the one item I lacked: a stunning brown shawl that at once was cozy and unbelievably chic.
I’ve never really been that big of a boots guy, but I know most guys love a great pair of boots.
BUT, they’ve started to interests me a bit more as of late, and I’ve been checking out various styles. One example would be the AllSaints Ridge Boot that I’ve come to love.
Now, there’s another boot to add to the list – the Diesel Stills.
Welcome to today’s street style photography post.
It finally managed to snow in NYC and the fashion quickly shifted with the colder temperatures.
The thing about snow in the city is that it looks really nice when it’s first coming down, but after the streets are cleared and things start to melt… it’s a slushy mess.
The best part are the “slush puddles” that you thing are shallow, but end up being several inches deep and engulfing your foot. It’s quite gross!
The chic button-up (called the Jean Shirt Chemise) is a product of the recent menswear for women trend and it seems that it may be here to stay.
What I love about this style is the way it combines classic with trendy, allowing for a look that is effortless and just all around cool.
My personal goal lately has been to avoid blue shirts because my wardrobe has become overwhelmed with them, but I opted to toss that out the window for this shirt.
It’s a Ralph Lauren flannel that has a nice blend of colors, but it’s also a bit thicker than the average flannel which means it can be worn, at times, in colder temps without a coat.
First thing’s first. Practically every article posted to Fashables is positive and the goal isn’t to talk negative about clothing brands. We’re happy people and trash talk isn’t our style.
Now, with that said, I’ve received three emails this week from guys asking me about Boss shoes and why I don’t highlight them. I responded each time with an explanation, which prompted one guy to say, “The same exact thing happened to me! You need to share this with people.”
So here we go.
We are well inside the fur season, so I thought I could grab some courage and try a few on. This happened recently at Zara, where the trend is all over the shop.
I have to admit that it was my first time trying on fur/faux fur, because I’ve always felt like it wasn’t for me.
Well, my feedback is…I am in love! Itʼs like someone opened a door to the fashion paradise and finally let me in to have a look!
