Oakley Frogskin Sunglasses

Don’t you love a good pair of sunglasses? I’ve worn Electric’s for quite some time, but decided to freshen things up a while back. The old school wayferer look is fun, so I set out on a mission to find a pair that fit me well.

My first thought was to pick up a classic pair of Ray-Ban’s (RB2132 New Wayfarer) because you typically can’t go wrong with them. Unfortunately, they were cut a bit low at the top (eyebrow area) and let an annoying amount of light in my eyes. Not sure I can properly explain that – just know they weren’t quite right for me.

My next stop was to the Oakley store because I’d seen a female wearing something pretty close to what I was looking for. [And don't hate - sometimes male/female sunglasses look very similar.]

oakley-frogskin-fashables Fortunately, I found what I was looking for – the Oakley Frogskins. had exactly what I was looking for – a pair of Polarized Frogskins. They were just the right size and seemed to fit my face relatively well.

The first pair of Frogskins I tried on were classic black, but were also polarized, which isn’t something I felt like I needed, or wanted (makes me feel dizzy at times). I really like the Oakley Frogskins in black, but am not a fan of the white Oakley on the side, which is the main reason I opted out. If these work for you they can be bought for $140 on Amazon.

Thankfully, the Oakley Frogskins come in multiple colors, one of which is a very cool grey color. The frame has somewhat of a clear grey look that allows them to appear darker than they actually are at times. Best of all, the Oakley stamp on the side is in black which makes it stand out much less. I’ve had the Frogskins for a while now and have really enjoyed them.

If you’d like a classic look offered by a brand other than Rayban (simply because everyone has a pair), click here to pick up the Oakley Frogskins.

The sunglasses retail for $140 and can be bought here on Amazon.
