New York City Street Style Fashion: Missed Moments

There’s a nice variety of fashion in today’s street style fashion post.

In addition to sharing various looks with you, I’ll take you somewhat behind the scenes and share missed moments – when you miss or nearly miss an outfit – from the streets of New York City. It doesn’t happen all that much, but when it does it typically results in a chuckle followed by a verbal, “She/He looked great. Ah!”

Enjoy the fashion.

Seen at 51st and 6th. Her shoes stood out first, but then I noticed the coordination of the black and white — even on her sunglasses.

I saw this girl in SoHo and her shoes stood out immediately. She was already in front of me so, in theory, I’d missed the shot. After a split second decision of whether or not I wanted to run across the street to get the shot… I made a decision (see below).

Turns out that she’s also a photographer.

This look certainly isn’t for everyone, but I thought she pulled it off quite well. Cute.

Don’t overlook his shoes. Seen outside Equinox at the corner of Prince and Crosby in SoHo.

It was hot out.

She looked fantastic draped in this long backless dress. I 100% missed this shot. It’s rather blurry, but take a look at the detailing on the outside of her left shoe. She really looked amazing and her height made me think she may be a model.

They both had on great sunglasses.

Sometimes the back of an outfit is more interesting than the front.

For a moment he reminded me of the guy from the new Spider-Man flick.

Nice bag.
