I have always thought of The Gap as a great place to get basics like t-shirts and tanks tops (which is what I popped in for recently). I was pleasantly surprised to find other interesting pieces in fun, bold colors that are great for summer. They also had a nice selection of shoes, bags and accessories to really complete an outfit. Here are some of my faves:

I love this little white dress! It has pockets, beautiful embroidered detailing and is relaxed and comfortable. Perfect for summer!

Here I am wearing the white embroidered pintuck dress ($69.95) with my own bold bead necklace, and black patent leather boat shoes $89.95 and pink trimmed hounds-tooth iPhone case by Agent18 ($29.95).
Here I am wearing the pintuck dress $69.95 with these cute, comfortable nude leather Gap flats $49.95 (in store only) and my Henri Bendel pink glitter tote ($158).

Now, I’m wearing the same outfit as above, but have added with my white linen Gibson jacket ($88) Gap flats $49.95 and a braided belt from The Gap ($29.95).

Time for a quick outfit change.

This bright blue long skirt is soft, light and versatile for summer!

Blue maxi skirt The Gap ($79.95) with a basic black tank from The Gap ($12), my bold beaded necklace, my white linen Gibson jacket and my black patent leather boat shoes.
Blue maxi skirt The Gap, grey cowl neck T from The Gap $24.95, braided leather belt, nude flats The Gap $49.95 (in store only) and my Henri Bendel pink glitter tote. I have also completed this look with hot pink lip gloss from MAC ($19.50) .
