In the world of men’s fashion, short sleeve button downs are something that can be relatively hard to come by.
Yes, they exist, but options tend to be remotely limited. I’m on a mission to find some nice ones though because wearing t-shirts and polo’s all summer just doesn’t excite me very much.
One brand that I tend to have luck with in terms of sizing and style is Ben Sherman, which is where this Plectrum Kinsington Collar Shirt is from.
The shirt has a touch of a hipster vibe, which isn’t a bad thing, and the color combination works well together.
In the shot above I tossed the shirt on with some chinos from Club Monaco and the new Johnston & Murphy McPherson shoes (no socks).
The shirt was around $104, and I know that’s not exactly inexpensive, but when options are so limited I opted to go ahead and bite the bullet.
