Happy New Year!
The Christmas / New Years holiday is always a great time for a blogcation, and this year my fiancee and I headed south to Naples, Florida. We spent a little time with both of our families, and also got some much needed rest and relaxation.
I took my DSLR with me, but given it’s size it’s not the optimal camera to have with me at all times, but that’s where Instagram came in handy. Enjoy some of the snaps from Florida below.

We spent Christmas Eve and day at my moms, and it appears she still hasn’t gotten rid of the ornaments I made in kindergarten. Including the angel she insists on putting at the top of the tree each year.
Saw these women’s boots during a trip to J.Crew. They’re warm, good for a rainy/snowy day, and flat out stylish.

Not to be cliche, but there was something awesome about laying by the pool (in Florida) and staring at orange trees.
