With all the lace dresses floating around, with and without liners and slips there is always a question of what and how to best where it.
I found a great little lace number at Urban Outfitters this week (in the sale section; if you haven’t been go now!). Now this nude/ivory color is a little hard to work with but it also makes it very versatile.
I love the shape with the large bell sleeves and short but pleat like drape. First one can wear all nude undergarments to just give themselves a sheer look. Here you see me doing this on the bottom half (editors note: brave enough to do that?). The dress also adds for a lot of opportunity for contrasting colors, such as the black top underneath to make the lace pop. Furthermore one can easily throw a little dress or skirt and bandeau on under if they are looking to be more on the modest side.
The last look that I am going to try with the dress will be some sort of bandeau top (unsure of color) with coral colored spandex shorts. I think the shorts will be a fun alternative to the skirt/dress and the color will be great for the season.
