I started planning my trip as soon as I found out that Madewell would be setting up shop in my favorite Williamsburg boutique, Bird, just a few weeks ago. I stopped by on Friday and tried out a few items I’ve been storing safely in my online shopping cart at Madewell.com for a while.
The first item was this adventurous pair of green patterned silk harem pants (Madewell Shadows & Light Slouch Trousers) for spring.
Not horrible, but not flattering by any means. I tried standing on my tippy-toes to fake what they might look like with a heel, but I’m afraid I’m just not ready to dive right onto the harem pants bandwagon.
It does seem like a fun bandwagon though, so this definitely won’t be my last attempt. I’ll probably go for something under the $100 mark whenever that time comes though.
