Even though everyone would rather still have sundresses, shorts and skirts on, we all know that it’s about time to prep our fall wardrobe so why not have fun while doing it?
I decided to check out and review a few outerwear options, as I think jackets are a crucial element for fall: not only they can turn an outfit upside down, they’re also quite hard to choose!
As for blazers, look for a timeless and wearable color with an unexpected silhouette (see this gray one I tried on) or go for a bold, statement blazer with a new, fashionable texture like velvet, lamé – which is going to be a huge trend for the season- or sequins. Insider tip: always look at the lining of this kind of jackets, that is what will keep you warm!

Another strong choice is obviously a leather jacket: of course the black motorcycle style is a staple in every wardrobe (Cos has incredible ones), so even in this case I suggest trying a twist on the model playing with colours -red, brown, navy blue- or shapes, as I did.

While going through these different jackets I also found this cute, elegant, Chanel inspired jacket from Guess – I immediately thought it could be dressed down with a plain t-shirt, a pair of classic jeans and sky high cream heels for a more casual but still very chic ensemble.
