Yesterday’s post titled “Add a Little Spunk with Colored Pants” prompted a few guys to ask, “What color pants should guys be wearing?”

I’d never attempt to say you should be wearing X, Y and Z color, but I’ll share a couple examples so you can get an idea of some options.

A previous post titled “Colorful Fun with Ted Baker” shows you what a pair of red pants might look like, and today we’ll take a look at some green pants.

And before we go on, let it be known that I hadn’t planned on sharing these shots. The pants were a bit snug and I didn’t feel like putting on another pair, so we’ll work with what we have.

I told you they were tight.

At first glance I didn’t think I’d like the green pants, but they quickly grew on me. And no, it wasn’t because they were so tight.

These Ted Baker pants are a nice shade of green that most guys should feel comfortable wearing. And I use “comfortable” loosely since it might take the average guy a second to feel that way in colored pants.

To offset the color down below, I paired the pants with a blue button down that seemed to provide a nice contrast in color. Not to mention blue is “safe” for me, and tons of other guys.

When it comes to wearing colored pants, you just need to remember not to go crazy with your shirt. You can wear fun shoes, but adding a loud shirt to the mix will be a bit much.

You should try out various colors and figure out which you are comfortable wearing, but don’t be scared to stretch yourself a bit and wear a color you might not normally consider. These green pants are a great example of that.

Both of these items were seen at Bloomingdale’s, and you can click here to start your shopping.
