One Awesome Pair of Shoes: Cooper Square Wingtip

Simply put, the Cole Haan Cooper Square Wingtip is an awesome men’s shoe.

It’s stylish. It’s comfortable. It’s well made. And it’s a great casual shoe, but if you play your cards right it can also be dressed up a bit.

The catch here is that I don’t even own the Cooper Square Wingtip, yet. I’ve been eying it for a bit, and finally allowed myself to try it on last weekend. I put it on, laced it up, stood up, walked around… and I’m telling you, the shoe is absurdly comfortable. Why? Because the combination of the Nike Air technology and strategic placement of Cole Haan’s Lunar cushioning, that’s why. And no, I’m not getting paid a dime, or receiving anything free (Although, Cole Haan, you’ve cost me a pretty pinny.) for this review.

Here’s a look at the shoe.

As with almost all of Cole Haan’s casual shoes, these have a pop of color, and come in a number of different combinations. The dark navy seen above is one of my favorites due to their versatility.

If you’d like a more reserved color selection, go with this options (Woodbury) because it provides you with a touch of “fun,” but won’t make you feel like your feet stand out as much. Click here to purchase this color option.

The blue section above the heel is part of the Lunar technology that Cole Haan uses to make the Cooper Square Wingtip absurdly comfortable.

So, if you can’t tell, I like this shoe a lot. It’s stylish. It’s comfortable. And there’s one small catch. At a price range of $298-398 it’s not the cheapest shoe in the world, but I’m telling you, you’ll get a ton of use out of these. I’ll probably pick mine up within the week. If you’d like to pick a pair up, here are a few color options: brown, charcoal and black.
